Mountain View Little League of Scottsdale will play for the United States championship of the Junior Little League Baseball World Series on Friday in Taylor, Mich.

Lucas Jacobi’s bases-loaded walk and Jimmy Ditroia’s base hit gave Mountain View a six-run lead Wednesday on the way to a 7-4 victory over Albuquerque and a berth in the U.S. final.

Mountain View is 3-0 in pool play, the only undefeated team in the U.S. pool.  Mountain View plays New Jersey at 2 p.m. (Arizona time) Thursday in its final pool game.  The Scottsdale team will find out Thursday who gets the other spot in the U.S. title game.

Friday’s U.S. final will be played at 5 p.m. Arizona time.

The U.S. champion will face the international champion at 2 p.m. (Arizona time) Saturday in the World Series final, which will be shown on ESPNU.

Mountain View led 6-0 after four innings. New Mexico scored three runs in the fifth to make it 6-3. Grant Martinez's doubled in the final run for Mountain View.
